Antigua Sport Fishing Tournament Kicks Off: Following last weekend’s launch party held at the Tides Restaurant in Coolidge, the countries enthusiasm for its favourite event has been refueled ready for this weekends event.
The Official LAUNCH PARTY 2013: The Big Party of the season will take place on Saturday 11th May 2013. Listen out soon for ticket outlets.
Taking place at Jolly Harbour “Doc’s Dock” on November 10th 2012 (North Finger) all boats must register before 8pm on the Friday before fishing starts.

Entrance fee is EC$ 250 per boat.
- Includes free lunch for 4 crew members
- Docking at Doc’s Dock and neighbouring docks for up to 24 hours. All boats are encouraged to stay overnight so as to enjoy the after fishing party. Let’s have a ball!
Depart from any port. Lines in water at 5.00 am. Must be at Doc’s Dock by 3.30 pm
Prizes and trophies will be awarded for :
Champion Boat - based on most poundage
Champion Boat under 25 feet – based on most poundage
Biggest fish caught by (1) Male (2) Female (3) Youth
Special: Biggest snapper or grouper (over 10 lbs). Note: The weight of this fish does not count towards most poundage.
No Marlin /Sailfish/ Barracuda / Shark
Please ensure all catch are kept well iced
Again this year we plan a CALCUTTA – “put EC$100 in the pot largest wahoo takes the lot.”
Monies must be deposited with Dr. Charles before 4th Nov in order to be eligible
Note: last year the winner walked away with $1800 !!
Last year, 28 boats entered, 1980 lbs of fish were caught and every boat caught.

Even if you are not yet into fishing, there is still plenty to come for afterwards at Doc’s Dock with food and drink available for purchase while you view the day’s catch. Also, some of the fresh fish will be on sale.
