Just giving this a try for the first time.We are asking all interested to read and add anything they would like, fishing or anything of interest on this subject.Posted by Administrator
We the sportfishing club next Thursday at the airports arrival lounge would be putting a replica blue marlin the size of our island record 771.25 lbs this dedicated to the memory of the late Francis Nunes Jr. This had been a dream of his for many years and we are delighted that we now have acheaved this in his memory.
Look in the newspapers next Friday for the pictures or on our site. By the way this fish is fifteen feet long by 5 feet in height its really beautiful.
Fishing on the whole has been really poor I don't know if it is the water temperature or just the time of the year.Don't worry September is here it used to be a great south bank month for wahoo lets hope they turn up.
Plans for the Francis Nunes Memorial Tournament are coming along great will keep you posted as time progresses.
Until next time

What better way to start the blog than announce the date of Saturday 27th September as the date we will be holding the 1st Francis Nunes Jr. Memorial Fishing Tournament and Seafood Festival. Posted by Administrator
Most of you knew Frankie personally, and realised the impact he had on developing the Annual fishing tournament. So this event is especially to celebrate FRankie, and most of all have a fun filled family day - as well as trying to catch the biggest fish of course.
